Final day of school bittersweet for USD 489 retiree
Just because she's retiring as a teacher doesn't mean Kim Lyon is through trying to make a difference in children's lives. Today is the last day of school for Roosevelt Elementary School, and it's the last day for Lyon, too. She is retiring after 32 years as a teacher -- all in Hays.
